Scientific education and background are mainly the organic synthesis. Experience in analytical chemistry as well as in cross-linkers and label-transfer methods applied in protein:protein (ligand) interactions.

Our research in the organic synthesis focuses on the development of compounds of biological interests.

Our current research interests are:

- prodrugs & macromolecular prodrugs

- drug targeting and drug delivery systems in oncology

- bioconjugate chemistry

Currently, we are being involved in the discovery of prodrugs to improve the therapeutic index of anticancer agents and to overcome the multi-drug resistance observed in cancer-patients.

Based on our broad research experience, we design and perform the synthesis of new compounds as well as new platform technologies that may lead to new clinical applicable pharmaceutical drugs.
